Smithbrook
The Smithbrook Vineyard is located amongst majestic 'tall trees' on a pristine hill in the Pemberton wine region in the south west corner of WA. Planted in the late 1980s, the vineyard represents the most significant mature vineyard in the region. The warm Indian Ocean to the West and the cool Southern Ocean to the south create a maritime climate.
Smithbrook has a natural, sustainable approach to managing the vineyard; low-yielding dry grown vines, roaming Guinea Fowl to control insects and no harmful sprays all assist to grow balanced vines.
